Επιλέγουν τη συγκεκριμένη λίμνη λόγω της άλγης που συγκεντρώνεται στην επιφάνειά της και προσφέρει άφθονη τροφή στα φλαμίνγκο. Υπολογίζεται ότι κάθε μέρα καταναλώνουν εώς και 500 τόνους άλγης!
